Call for projects by impact investors active in Africa, Asia and Latin America
3rd edition - Focus topic: Food Security and Improved Nutrition
The SSNUP programme offers funding for technical assistance (TA) projects from impact investors (asset managers) active in strengthening the agricultural sector in Africa, Asia and Latin America and who are not permanent partners of the SSNUP programme.
To be eligible for SSNUP co-funding through this call for projects, while aiming at strengthening the resilience of smallholder households and agricultural value chains, TA projects must focus and contribute positively to Food Security and Improved Nutrition which is one of the four priority topics of SSNUP phase II.
A maximum of two individual TA projects per investor can be selected. The organisations (investees or potential investees), benefiting from SSNUP funding can be agri-SMEs, farmer cooperatives/organisations or financial intermediaries. A maximum of two organisations can be included in each TA project.
The maximum SSNUP contribution amounts to EUR 50,000 per project.

After completion of the documents in English, French or Spanish, the application must be submitted to SSNUP by Monday 9 March 2026, before 23.59 (CET).

- Contracting and financing: A contract is signed between ADA (SSNUP coordinator) and the selected applicant for each approved project. 80% of the SSNUP contribution to the technical assistance budget is transferred upon signature of the contract. The remaining amount, together with the management fee, is transferred at the end of the project, following approval of the completion report by ADA.
